Lacquer Love: Butter London "The Fash Pack" #1

March 27, 2014

Oh man, I've got a good one for you guys today! I discovered this nail polish set the other day at Globus, a high-end department store here in Switzerland.

This is the Butter London Limited Edition Boxing Day Fash Pack in "Ombre".

I couldn't find this beauty on the Butter London website so I've linked up the Ulta website.

This is an awesome pack of five 6mL (0.2 fl. oz.) nail polish bottles.

The shades, from l-r: Teddy Girl, Fruit Machine, Fairy Lights, Primrose Hill Picnic and Queen Vic

On the american Ulta site, this Fash Pack is priced at $35 and here in Switzerland it was originally priced at CHF 59.90. But, it was on sale for CHF 24.90! Which is the original price of one 11mL (0.4 fl. oz.) bottle - #winning! (yes, I did just use that hashtag, kill me)

The polish I decided to go for first is Queen Vic, the darkest shade in the bunch. This is described as a "red wine meets cranberry in a regal creme". It really is a gorgeous shade perfect for any time of the year, honestly.

In the dead of winter, you won't be busting out any neon pinks because it just feels wrong. But this type of color really works any time of year and looks very elegant and feminine.

I painted my nails on Monday evening and they have stayed chip-free until now (Thursday evening).

I paired Queen Vic with one of my favorite glitter polishes, by OPI. It's from the Euro Centrale collection and it's a mix of blue and violet glitter pieces.

Hope you like this shade and stay tuned for more nail looks using this Fash Pack by Butter London!

    1. They really are! I'm excited to use Fruit Machine too. Although, confession: the next night, after buying this lil pack, I was randomly looking through one of my nail polish drawers and noticed a pink polish by Butter London, the original size, and read that it's Fruit Machine! Haha, totally forgot about that one ;-)
